Easy POPS Manager is a free Windows tool that lets you add and manage PlayStation 1 games (.VCD format) on your PlayStation 2 via USB, using POPStarter.

What does Easy POPS Manager do?

With a simple and intuitive interface, the program allows you to:

• Select the POPS folder: It must be at the root of the USB. Essential files should also be placed there: POPSTARTER.ELF and POPS_IOX.PAK (not included), along with the games in .VCD format.
  
• Create ELF files: Generates executable files needed to launch the games from the USB.
  
• Create conf_apps.cfg: Automatically adds entries to the Free McBoot menu for easy access to your games from the browser.
  
• Create CHEATS.TXT: Generates a cheat file compatible with POPStarter if you want to use cheats in your games.
  
• Create shortcuts in FMCB: Creates icons directly in the Free McBoot menu so you can launch your games with a single click.
  
• Support for multidisc games: Automatically organizes multi-disc games (e.g., Metal Gear Solid Disc 1.VCD, Disc 2.VCD, etc.). For this, you can define:
  
  • Multidisc delimiter: Keyword used to distinguish discs (e.g., “Disc”).
  • Disc 1 identifier: How to identify the first disc (e.g., “Disc 1”).
    
• Clean titles: Option to remove additional text from game names, such as regions (for example, transforms “Metal Gear Solid (Europe)” into “Metal Gear Solid”).

Don’t see your games in the menu? Try these steps:

Open ulaunchelf from the menu

Browse to the mass:/ folder

Open the file XX.GAME.ELF (XX.CrashBandicoot.ELF or your game)
